The Comets Field is located within the Lake Casitas Recreation Area (Click on link above for more information). Directions: Head North out of Ventura on US 101 and take Hwy 33 toward Ojai. Exit at Santa Ana Road and follow the signs to the Lake Casitas Recreation Area. Once inside the gate turn right and follow the signs to the Model Airstrip. Please observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Refer to the maps to the right. Club meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday at 7:30 PM at the Oak View Community Center at 18 Valley Road in (you guessed it) Oak View. Take the 33 as above, but continue on an make a left turn at Santa Ana Blvd. and then a right at the fifth street, Valley Rd. The Community Center is at the end of the block on the right.
